The portions are huge, the employees are lovely, but there are so many flies I couldn't even eat. Just in the little area where I was sitting, there was at least 10 flies buzzing around. The most disgusting thing is to know that you are being served food in a restaurant that can't bother to keep the environment clean and free of insects. I have to wonder what other bugs are crawling around. I will never return because this is the kind of thing that never changes. Two stars because the staff were wonderful and the food smelled good, but it doesn't matter how good it smells if I can't eat it.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but this is the best service I've ever had in my life, and the food is great too! Donna, our waitress should teach classes! An absolute pro! Seriously sit in her section. We will absolutely be back.

Wow!!! We really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Maria was our server and she was very pleasant and gave us great service. I am all about customer service. The food was plenty and cooked to perfection. I have to say, I really enjoyed the butter toast. Yummmmmm! I didn't know the biscuits and gravy was going to be that much food, but it was so good. You could tell the biscuits were homemade and the gravy we got had bits of sausage. Oh, it was perfectly made. We would definitely come to back just to try their other menu items.

We figured we would check them out after the reopening. Great job on the remodel, food was good and served hot. The restaurant was clean and our server, Sandy, was great at taking good care of us. I had the Chicken fried steak and my wife enjoyed the liver and onions.

When you drive by this place you mainly notice the sign mentioning their catfish special. While the outside doesn't stand out, it is quite the opposite indoors. We finally had to give it a try. We did go during the busy rush of that catfish special. First note is that you seat yourself. As busy as the servers were (they were also down a waitress), we were noticed and told they would be there shortly.. and she was. She had a great attitude. She took our drink orders while we went over the large menu. Definitely think diner when coming here. We ordered chicken fried steak and cheeseburger meals. We were delightfully surprised by how good the chicken fried steak was (pretty thick and not overbreaded.) The burger was alright. If you are looking for a quick meal, it is worth trying out. We will be back to check out more of the menu.
